Clogs on a new level

I am certain that part of my love affair with these clogs is the nostalgic aspect of my home country and my youth.

I certainly wore my share of klompen growing up.
The clog heel keeps popping up everywhere this season on this side of the world. When I think of clogs, the traditional mule clog immediately comes to mind. However, these clogs have been elevated to a whole new level.
I love the strong masculine feel of the lace up boots from Hasbeen and the ultra feminine jewel toned sandals from Coclico.

I am particularly taken with the craftsmanship involved in making these boots and shoes, as well as the comfort and the simplicity of the styles.
However, they have not found their way into my shoe closet yet... Not for lack of want but for lack of funds.
Despite the price tag, they seem confident the look will sell... What do you think?
