The Weird
With the Oscars around the corner, today I would like to hand out my own three awards. The award in the weird category goes to Kei Kagami.
Mr. Kagami started out as an architect who turned fashion designer. In 2003 his first shoes were showcased in a gallery in Milan. Kei Kagami has continued to design accessories and this is his latest. This sculptural leather and resin rounded toe wedge is not everyone's taste but if it is yours, it is available at Selfridges for 539 pounds.

Our next winner is JC De Castelbajac in the category wild.
This designer is known to produce shoes that resemble wildlife. Does one need a permit to own these? Which zoo did this one escape from?

Helena Siebert uit Vancouver, Canada is een myfavouriteshoes fan van het eerste uur. Af en toe is ze zelfs wild van schoenen. Het leek haar leuk om schrijvend haar passie voor schoenen met ons te delen. Haar nederlands is een beetje te roestig, dus schrijft zij in het engels.
