That awkward time between summer and fall when it is too warm for "all out boots" and yet the open toe shoes do not quite cut it any more either; the transition period.

Personally, this is the time I wear most of my booties, the ones that have an open weave and the light coloured ones on the sunnier days and the darker ones on the "it's beginning to feel like fall "days.
Trends for the fall and winter
Booties are such an obvious choice but there are quite a few lovely shoes that would fit the bill and caught my eye when working on this post. If you are looking at transition shoes, keep in mind some of the trends for the fall winter season. You may just make that purchase that keeps you going all winter long.
One of the trends I am very excited about is the deep colour purple that promises to be strong as well as the continuation of navy blue this season.
Another strong trend is the chunky heel. Now we are talking practical! Here are the top three for me of all the ones I looked at.

Helena Siebert uit Vancouver, Canada, is een myfavouriteshoes fan van het eerste uur. Niet alleen is zij een fan van John Fluevog schoenen, zij houdt van alle schoenen met een twist. Het leek haar leuk om schrijvend haar passie voor schoenen met ons te delen. Het kan haar lekker niks schelen dat haar man , zoals de meeste mannen, ook niet zo van wedges houdt. Ze koopt en draagt ze met plezier. Haar Nederlands is een beetje te roestig, dus schrijft zij in het Engels.
