My Favourite Shoes

At this time of year it is usually all about the heel, the higher the better.

I must admit it does not just elevate the wearer but also an outfit. But ouch, our poor feet. The agonizing discomfort on the balls of our feet, the squashed toes no matter how big the toe box and the agonizing pain of bunions. It is almost enough to say goodbye to heels for good.
But then what option do we have left... flats. I can see you shake your head and say "so wrong".
But wait! There is good news. Flats do not need to be boring. There are some incredible flats out there with plenty of style and beautiful detailing to satisfy every fashionista, even if you are not into flats. Here is to comfort, practicality and some love for your feet.

Helena Siebert uit Vancouver, Canada, is een myfavouriteshoes fan van het eerste uur. Niet alleen is zij een fan van John Fluevog schoenen, zij houdt van alle schoenen met een twist. Het leek haar leuk om schrijvend haar passie voor schoenen met ons te delen. Het kan haar lekker niks schelen dat haar man, zoals de meeste mannen, ook niet zo van wedges houdt. Ze koopt en draagt ze met plezier. Haar Nederlands is een beetje te roestig, dus schrijft zij in het Engels.
