I find this much easier to describe than what fasion style I am. I must admit that much of what I wear is influenced by the shoes I wear. And they certainly do not ascribe to any one style! From boho to funky to trendy to extremely classy and very lady like shoes. I remember one day as I was picking up my kids from school I received the comment from one of my sons "You look like a mom today".
I am still scratching my head if this was meant as a compliment or not.
Lady like trend
Yesterday our new guest blogger Ranoesha Sewraj brought us a trend for this spring. Today I am introducing you to a very lady like trend. The kind of shoes I could see Coco Chanel, Jackie O or Audrey Hepburn wear. Isn't it interesting that it is the examples of ladies that come to mind are not of our contemporaries...

Metalic toe caps
The trend I am talking about are shoes with metalic toe caps. They are glamorous and trendy, taking bling to a new and classy level. We have seen them on ballet flats with rounded toes for some time now, but now they appear on another trend, the pointy toe.
These shoes are so feminine and elegant looking. Here are some examples. What do you think?

Helena Siebert uit Vancouver, Canada, is een myfavouriteshoes fan van het eerste uur. Niet alleen is zij dol op John Fluevog schoenen, zij houdt van alle schoenen met een twist. Het leek haar leuk om schrijvend haar passie voor schoenen met ons te delen. Het kan haar lekker niks schelen dat haar man, zoals de meeste mannen, ook niet zo van wedges houdt. Ze koopt en draagt ze met plezier. Haar Nederlands is een beetje te roestig, dus schrijft zij in het Engels. |
